Amen To That

Greg Craola Simkins
"I’m scared of losing the excitement of discovery I had as a child; new adventures in every book I read, rabbit holes to fall down, wardrobes to explore, beds to get lost under. Diving into a new painting is like recreating the feelings of being young again. The insecurities are still there, yet the freedom is overwhelming. Where else can you run into fantastic creatures and surreal landscapes than in your own imagination? Art has always been my place to go since I was a kid. Form picking up my first crayon, pencil, pen, spray-can, computer tablet, and finally paintbrush, the possibilities seem endless. Continuing the journey is all I can do right now and see where it takes me."

Accept The New

I've been gone for so long, too much stress. School and what not. Over it now thankfully. It's kind of backwards actually that I stress and not post.. where as I should be stressing and posting.. hm.

I just found this artist by the name of Martin Askem. On surrealism.co.uk they say that his works are "the most  unique and powerful work seen since Salvador Dali's work". I'm not sure if I agree with this statement, Dali was a genius. But hey, I'm no expert.

Feeling Like..

Lately I've been feeling a little awesome. Things are getting figured out daily and I can't wait to go back to school and be done with vacation lol. So in honor of my happy mood, I'll post creations made by the artist known as Robert Williams.
