Just a tad

I'm feeling a little irritated and angry right now so I did what I do to usually occupy my thoughts and looked at some pictures. Came across some pictures that I forgot I saved and I figured I'd share them. They're painted by an artist named Jose Roosevelt:

There is so much going on in every picture, I'm sure you can understand why I looked at them to get my mind off of things. It's so nice to see that an artist is multi talented and can draw as well as he paints.

I realize that I kind of start every blog post pretty much the same, is that bad? Boring? Do people even read my blog? It'd be nice to have some more followers and comments, ha. Now I think I'm just going on a rant to keep me occupied.. but isn't that what this is for? Do I have to talk about art only? I think I do, ha.
I wish I could just jump into every picture, wish I could live somewhere else for a little while.
College isn't what it's really cracked up to be, it's not really fun at all.. or atleast it isn't for me. Being surrounded by people who don't interest me AT ALL and getting pointless essays thrown at me daily, it's all a big nuisance really. Okay, think I'm done complaining now, haha, sorry.

Double Trouble

So today I'm posting about two artists. Both paint women in different ways and since I've already said I love when women are put into art, why not post them?

The first artist is Brian Viveros:

The sexy, hot mess look really appeals to me so I think it's safe to say that he's one of my favorite artists. I love the way he paints their lips, shoulders and necks (which are all actually my favorite body parts). The blending of warm colors in the background makes you have a comforting feeling yet you're looking at this strong, edgy image; its a nice feeling in your brain. I like that most of them are injured in some way, it kind of (to me) represents how women get hurt, get knocked down, yet they'll still sit there, look beautiful and smoke they're cigarette.

Next artist is Patrick "STAR27" Deignan:

These pictures are kind of like an ugly sexy. The artist says he painted them based on something he has once seen, I wonder what he saw that was the equivalent to these paintings. This definitely shows the more crazy side of women but still beautiful none-the-less.

Landscapes?

I'm not really into landscape/nature type art but these are sort of different; they have deeper meanings. They're painted by an artist by the name of Blanka Ciok. They kind of look like they were digitally created so its very interesting. Some of them really make me stop and stare, wonder what was going on in the artists head and what they must've been feeling.

Wouldn't it be wonderful to travel into an artists body? To feel what they feel, see the world how they see it. I always wonder if the world looks the same to everyone. Haha maybe that sounds stupid but if you really think about it, how could people come up with these images if they see everything the same as me? I definitely don't see those types of things.

On My Mind

I'm sitting in my dorm room right now, looking at all the art i've taped to my walls, how do artists find a way to make sense of their thoughts? I always have so many things buzzing around my brain, sometimes I write but it doesn't usually help. I like to think but I hate dwelling on things, Is that contradicting myself?

I love art because a lot of artists paint what I'm thinking and then when I look at the pieces, it makes me feel like my thoughts are more organized.
I want to make this blog a way for me to get out how i feel, possibly help other people with what they feel. I feel like it's a work in progress, just a slow process, haha.

Soooo right now I'm kind of feeling like this Olivier Zappelli painting:

The name of this painting is Triple Self Portrait of a Madman. His mind is similar to mine in a way.

They're Backkkkkk!

Sorry about the long break. School has kept me so stressed, I wasn't focusing on anything. Then I remembered, the only thing that actually helps me breathe easier and live is art. So I'm getting back into this. I'm so glad to see some more followers :) Even though I havent been active :x Promise it won't happen again guyss.

So this art is a little different. It's photography by an artist by the name of Brandon Showers. The pictures are so crisp and clean, the colors so vibrant. It's like my eyes are at an amusement park. The lipstick and nail polish on the girls and background colors definitely make the pictures. They're very sexual and I love when people are comfortable with being out there with sex.

Reminds Me of Something I Once Saw

I came across an artist by the name of Dina Lenkovic. Her pictures remind me of maybe art I would find in a mexican resturant or an old church. It's very colorful, pleasing to my eyes.
